1. 6. Occupational Therapist: Occupational therapists work with children who have physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities to help them participate in everyday activities. They assess students' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independent living skills.
7. Child Psychologist: Child psychologists specialize in assessing and treating children with emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders. They conduct psychological evaluations, provide therapy and counseling, and collaborate with parents and other professionals to support children's mental health and well-being.
8. Family Support Worker: Family support workers provide practical and emotional support to families of children with additional needs. They offer information, advice, and advocacy services, and help families access resources and services to support their child's development and well-being.
9. Special Educational Needs Consultant: SEN consultants work independently or for educational organizations, providing expertise and advice on special educational needs policy, practice, and provision. They may work with schools, local authorities, or government agencies to develop inclusive policies and support strategies.
10. Community Support Worker: Community support workers provide support and assistance to children with additional needs and their families in community settings. They may facilitate social groups, organize recreational activities, and provide practical support to help children participate fully in community life.
