Level 2 Certificate for Access to Leadership (QCF)

The Level 2 Certificate for Access to Leadership aims to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding to bridge the gap between roles within a team to team leader. The qualification covers customer service, communication, leadership styles, event planning and health and safety to help prepare learners to take on a team leadership role across a range of sectors.

  • This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above. OR;
  • There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

- Understanding leadership styles
- Understand how to provide quality to customers
- Understanding successful team working

Optional Units
- Principles of event planning
- Understanding the function of sales within an organisation
- Customer care and diversity in active leisure
- Health, safety, security and welfare in active leisure
- Principles of resolving customer service problems
- Principles of promoting additional services or products to customers
- Principles of supervising customer service performance in hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism
- The principles of food safety supervision for catering
- Principles of promoting food and beverage services and products
- Understanding team performance
- Applying decision making techniques

❺   Assessment

The assessment is done via submission of assignment. There are no written exams.

The fee for the programme is as follows:

● Payment option (a): GBP £433 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1234 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

● Payment option (d): GBP £499 x 2 quarterly instalments

❽   Accreditation

  • The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by Innovate Awarding, an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
